Early January Loves, Empties and Restocks: The Products That Have Launched a Strong 2026

We are now 6 weeks into 2026 and that means that those products you bought to support your new year’s resolutions are probably getting close to empty if you haven’t already finished them.

You’ve also had ample time to test some new gadgets, workout clothes and maybe a new training plan or workout class as well!

I have been very busy and very dialed in this year and so I wanted to go through a couple of the products I am loving, my current empties and the products I will be restocking/replacing. To see this article in video format, check out the part 1 and part 2 videos, exclusive to my website audience!

Loved and Replacing: Longevity Supplements

I have been testing IM8’s new longevity supplement formulation for a couple of months now and have been enjoying it so far. The taste isn’t as good as their daily supplement, but it’s not so bad that I don’t want to take the supplement.

It’s hard to know what these longevity supplements are really working because the whole point of them is to support your long-term health, so I likely won’t see the full impact of this supplement until years down the line.

So as I neared my final packet of the longevity supplement, I decided it would be a great time to test another longevity brand, Youth & Earth.

Specifically, I wanted to try their NMN supplement after doing research on the Youth & Earth brand and their NMN capsule to support cellular protection against sun damage.

So my first love + restock is as follows:

Empty and Replace: Oxyshred Preworkout and PE Science Prolific and Amino IV

Prior to the new year, I had run out of my Alani Nu Pre-Workout and needed a replacement to kick off the year.

I have been following Molly Smith, a fitness influencer from the UK, for quite some time now and noticed she was always drinking and promoting EHPLabs Oxyshred in her videos and posts.

She has an insanely strong and ripped figure and so I thought that if I use the same products as her, I will be as ripped as her (a crazy thought, I know).

So I went ahead and ordered the same one that she uses, the Oxyshred pre-workout powder in watermelon.

The results were… underwhelming, to say the least.

I think the flavour was great, and I did appreciate that it didn’t give me a jittery type of feeling when I would take it.

With that said, I had to be so careful about when I ate before or after taking this. They do warn you on the package that you shouldn’t eat anything with protein in it before or within 2 hours of taking Oxyshred as it might upset your stomach.

This happened a number of times when I was visiting family over the holidays and it got in the way of me having a normal workout. So that’s something to keep in mind if you feel like trying this out.

So when I finally finished my Oxyshred (as you can see in this 5-9 routine video), I knew I needed to pick a replacement.

While working out on that final scoop of Oxyshred, I realized that I need a preworkout that gives me a little more energy and I also need something to drink during my workouts.

I have been feeling like I run out of steam in my workouts, and I am not able to give every exercise the full effort that I believe I can give them. So I decided that when I replace my preworkout, I’ll also get an intraworkout supplement.

What do you do when you want to have a good experience after testing something new? You go back to old faithful! Which is exactly what I did with my preworkout replacement.

Old faithful to me is PE Science. They’ve just always been the brand that has exactly what I need. So to replace my Oxyshred preworkout, I purchased the PE Science Prolific preworkout in melon berry, and the Amino IV BCAAs + EAAs for my intraworkout supplement in strawberry lemonade.

I’m already a couple of days into using them, and I feel so much better already. The energy is there, and I pushed hard through my first workout of a new phase of training.

So to wrap up this section’s empty and replacement:

  • Empty: EHPLabs Oxyshred Preworkout
  • Restock: PE Science Prolific Preworkout and Amino IV BCAA + EAAs

Empty: Deep Sleep Supplement

I wanted to make sure that I start 2026 with incredible sleep scores. So I decided to go back to an old faithful product, Genuine Health’s Deep Sleep supplement. It has reishi, GABA, l-theanine, magnesium and a little bit of melatonin to help you get more restful sleep.

And restful sleep I did indeed get! I was averaging about 2 hours of REM sleep (rapid eye movement) and 2 hours of deep sleep every night. Both of these sleep stages are crucial for maximizing recovery, repair, and restoration while sleeping.

I was really happy to see the quality of my sleep improving so much and was definitely feeling the effects of getting such restful sleep.

However, I knew that I wouldn’t take this supplement forever. It was just there to help kick start the year, help me build good sleeping habits, and give me a sleep quality target to aim for without any kind of sleep aid.

I am now 4 nights off of the supplement and my sleep quality has not been as good. My HRV is way off, and I am not getting the same amount of deep or REM sleep.

This may cause some alarm to most people, but I know that this is just an adjustment period. My body and all of its natural processes are now responsible for getting me that good quality sleep on their own after having their hand held for the last month.

It’s normal for the body to go through an adjustment period, so I am just being patient and not rushing to get myself a replacement bottle or a new sleep supplement.

So the recap of the empty discussed in this section:

  • Empty: Genuine Health Deep Sleep Supplement

A New Love: Aera Hypallergenic Home Diffuser

I have already written about my experience with Aera but it’s so good it needs it’s own shoutout in this post.

The key difference with the Aera home diffuser and what I think makes it worth every penny, is that it does not make me feel like I have to choose between breathing and a nice smelling home.

That’s a bit dramatic, but I have just had so many experiences with scented candles where I find myself wheezing and finding it hard to breathe – all so that my home can smell like pine trees or pumpkin spice?!

It is just so not worth it.

So when I came across Aera and their home diffuser that is hypoallergenic and gives you up to 600 hours of fresh scent in my home, it was a no brainer. I had to try it because it felt like I was running out of options.

The system is also waterless, which is awesome. No wasted water and no having to clean a diffuser that’s built up limescale from using tap water because nobody has time to be buying distilled water just to use a diffuser.

Pillow Plans is definitely my favourite of the scents that I got, but vanilla and soft pants have both been getting equal time in the diffuser during my work days.

To summarize this section’s loves:

What’s Coming Up Next Time

I am constantly testing new things and trying out new routines, so in the next Loves, Empties and Restocks post, look out for a review of my experience with the Ultrahuman Ring Air and a couple of other products that I can’t talk about yet, but that I am very excited to share with you in the next one.

Until then, remember to Do Something Good for Your Body Today!
