As someone who is in the gym every week, multiple times per week, it is so important that I have clothing that moves with me and that motivate me to get up and go to the gym.
Gymshark has been that brand for me since 2018, when I was working full-time as a personal trainer. Their materials have come a long way, and I no longer worry about their leggings being squat-proof, or their deliveries coming with massive duties that used to equal the amount I paid for the clothing.

- Are GymShark Legging Squat Proof?
When I first started wearing GymShark, I really struggled with them not being squat-proof. I even had a training session with a client where they politely pulled me aside to tell me that my legging were completely see-through when I would bend down. With that said, I think they’ve come a long way since 2018. One thing to note is that they do become less squat-proof over time as the material begins to thin out. - Why do you always choose GymShark?
There are a couple of reasons why. First, the price is right. As someone who grew up with Lululemon, Adidas and Underarmour as my main sources for workout clothes, GymShark was a welcome addition. The prices are much more reasonable than those legacy brands. Second, the styles are great. Nothing to weird or flashy, but also just enough interesting colours and styles that I feel excited to wear my GymShark clothes to the gym. Lastly, they prioritize seamless for leggings. There is nothing I hate more than leggings with a seam that goes right up the crotch area. It just feels like lazy, inconsiderate design. GymShark has a wide variety of seamless leggings so you won’t have to dig to find comfortable, flattering leggings. - How often do you shop at GymShark?
I will do a GymShark haul about 2x per year. Typically, I’ll do a big shop in the Spring when they launch their new summer styles. Then the next time I’ll shop is either around Labour Day during their annual sale, or during the GymShark sale that happens in October/November-ish around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The prices are great at both of these times, and my workout clothes from the previous season are well-worn at this point and need to be replaced.
